Coordinated by the VHIO Academy, the VHIO – CaixaResearch Scientific Seminars Series welcomes internationally renowned researchers and clinical investigators to share and discuss their latest research findings and to meet with VHIO investigators.

This symposium provided an outstanding forum to present and the very latest developments in the field of advanced cell therapies, and to foster collaboration among leading, international experts.

In addition to coordinating the VHIO – CaixaResearch Scientific Seminars in 2023, the VHIO Academy, which is part of our Scientific Management Area, also organized:
The mission of the VHIO Academy is to attract and train the next generation of scientific leaders in oncology. Since its creation, VHIO Academy has achieved several highlights including the launch of international Academic Programs (Bachelor, Master, PhD calls), the implementation of a structured International PhD Program and the deployment of an Advanced Training Program.

Our annual series of preclinical, translational and clinical Benchstorming Seminars represent an excellent platform for our junior faculty to present and discuss their research interests with other VHIO groups.

We also share our expertise, learn from eminent guest speakers, discuss, and debate our latest findings through the organization of VHIO ad-hoc courses and workshops.
